Privacy notice (KVKK)
This notice explains, under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), how Mesut Dental processes the personal data of our patients and visitors.

Data we process
- Identity and contact: full name, phone number, email address.
- Appointment details: chosen treatment, date and time, notes.
- Health data (special category): the complaint you describe when booking, examination and treatment records, X-rays and photographs.
- Security: IP address, browser information and logs of actions on the site.
Why we process it
- To create, confirm, remind you of and, when needed, change your appointment,
- To examine, diagnose and treat you and to keep medical records,
- To answer your questions and contact you,
- To meet our legal obligations and keep information secure.
Legal basis
Identity, contact and appointment data are processed under KVKK Articles 5/2-c (performance of a contract), 5/2-ç (legal obligation) and 5/2-f (legitimate interest). Health data is processed under Article 6/3 for the purposes of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care, by our dentist and authorised staff, who are bound by professional secrecy.
Booking assistant
The text you type in the complaint field when booking may be sent to Google's Gemini AI service (on servers outside Turkey) to suggest the most suitable type of appointment. Your name, phone number and email are not sent with it. The assistant does not diagnose; the dentist makes the assessment at your visit. You may leave the field empty and choose the treatment from the list yourself.
Transfers
Your data is shared with the providers of our email and hosting services only as far as the service requires and with appropriate safeguards, and with public authorities where the law requires it. It is never given to third parties for marketing.
How we collect it
Through the booking form on this website, by phone, WhatsApp and email, and through forms you fill in at the clinic, by automated and non-automated means.
Retention
Appointment and medical records are kept for the periods set by law and are then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and who it has been shared with, ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected, deleted or destroyed, object to a result reached solely through automated processing, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
